Hi! I’m Sara Surmont, an artist and graphic designer based in Western New York.

I aim to use art and design to inspire imagination in others as well as to convey the spirit of a person, animal, place or thing with the hopes that it will tell a story or provide an insight that people can connect with.

I enjoy the problem solving process inherent in visual communication.

My designs feature bold and colorful palettes and I have fun exploring ideas, creating stories, and bringing them to life visually.

I’m most inspired by animals, nature, children’s books, California and the 90’s.
